Gabby and Aje have officially been together for over five years, but their story began much earlier—at a high school house party in the summer of 2012. They met as friends of friends (though to this day, the exact Boston-area town remains a mystery) and ended up chatting the night away.

Aje forgot to get Gabby’s number that night, but a week later, determined not to let the connection slip away, he sent her a Facebook friend request and reached out. They texted for a bit, but as the school year began, life pulled them in different directions and they lost touch.

Over the years, they remained distant acquaintances, quietly following each other's lives on Instagram. It wasn’t until an epic birthday party at D’s Keys in South Boston that fate stepped in again. Their worlds collided once more, and Gabby still happened to have Aje’s number.

By the next fall, they went on their first real date: a Maggie Rogers concert. Just a month later, Aje joined Gabby on a work trip to Japan—and that spontaneous adventure marked the beginning of forever.

Though they lived in separate cities—Gabby in Boston and Aje in New York—they made it work seamlessly. In the years since, they’ve created a home together in Tribeca with their two cats and traveled the world together, taking countless trips and building a life rooted in curiosity, laughter, and deep partnership.

Among all the places they’ve explored, Sweden has become a particularly special place—close to Aje’s roots and now close to Gabby’s heart, too. They can’t wait to welcome you to this incredible country this June to celebrate the next chapter of their love story.
